Delegation of IZTT got acquainted with manufacturing system of "KAMAZ"

On 11th of April in 2013 delegation of 15 representatives of IZTT visited plant "KAMAZ"  to see how the production system is implemented at management offices and to see how the Lean Thinking System works.  Later, Vladimir Arzhentsov, Chairman of the Produciton System Development Commission, demonstrated the guests the main assembly conveyor, a cab assembly line and warehouses of the automobile plant. Then, a workshop on PSK development was held in the kaizen class of the automobile plant. "KAMAZ" is the leader of development production system in Russia.

In the 70s of the last century, "KAMAZ" could  be reconstructed as the plant with the modern management system that testifies partnership with the German auto giant "Daimler". In 6 years it was given about 700 000 offers by the staff of plant with the general economic effect more than 24 billion rubles.

After the visit of plant "KAMAZ"  it was decided to visualize developments of a production system on IZTT: on production divisions will be organized stands with proposals of employees, and also the stands reflecting current state of staff number and production quality.

The representatives of IZTT are sure that this business trip was useful, resultive and laid the foundation to introduction new ideas.
